RelayTel Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of RelayTel’s verified calling, call bridging, transcription, AI summary, portal, email, and messaging services (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
RelayTel supports verified business calling and related SMS notifications. By providing a mobile number and opting in, you agree that RelayTel may send transactional or service-related text messages such as verification codes, account alerts, and call recap notifications. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe from non-essential text messages and HELP for assistance where supported.
1. Eligibility and Account Registration
You must be legally able to enter into these Terms and use the Services. You agree to provide accurate account information, maintain the security of your account, and promptly update any changes.
2. Verified Number Requirement
You may only use outbound caller identities that you own or are authorized to use. RelayTel may require SMS verification, voice verification, documentation, administrative review, or other steps to validate number ownership or authority.
You represent and warrant that any number you submit for use with RelayTel is a number you own or are specifically authorized to present as outbound caller ID.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use RelayTel for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or fraudulent activity, including:
- Caller ID spoofing or unauthorized identity substitution
- Spam, harassment, phishing, scamming, robocalling, or unlawful telemarketing
- Calling activity that violates carrier rules, telecom regulations, or messaging requirements
- Using RelayTel to evade blocks, law enforcement, or platform enforcement
- Uploading malicious content or interfering with the operation of the Services
RelayTel may suspend or terminate accounts that appear to violate these rules or create risk for carriers, users, or third parties.
4. Customer Responsibility for Consent and Recording Laws
RelayTel may support call recording, transcription, summarization, and AI processing. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of these features complies with all applicable laws, including call recording, monitoring, privacy, employment, consumer protection, and consent laws. Where disclosures or consent are required, you are responsible for providing them.
5. SMS and Notification Terms
RelayTel may send SMS messages related to:
- Number verification
- Account security and login alerts
- Call recaps, missed-call notifications, and support communications
Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Users may reply STOP to unsubscribe from non-essential messaging where supported. Some transactional or security-related messages may still be necessary to operate the service.
6. Service Availability and Changes
RelayTel may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any portion of the Services at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, specific routing quality, deliverability, or error-free operation.
7. AI-Generated Content
Call summaries, transcripts, action items, and other AI-generated outputs may contain inaccuracies or omissions. You are responsible for reviewing and validating important outputs before relying on them. RelayTel does not guarantee that AI-generated content is complete, accurate, or fit for any specific purpose.
8. Fees and Payment
Paid Services may include subscription fees, usage-based fees, minute charges, messaging charges, transcription charges, or other stated fees. You agree to pay all applicable charges and taxes. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or explicitly stated otherwise.
9. Data, Privacy, and Security
Our collection and use of information are described in the RelayTel Privacy Policy. By using the Services, you acknowledge that audio, transcripts, summaries, logs, and account information may be processed and stored as necessary to operate the Services.
10. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access immediately if we believe you have violated these Terms, created carrier or legal risk, failed to pay fees, or used the Services in a way that threatens security, deliverability, or platform integrity.
11. Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, RelayTel disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted operation.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RelayTel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunities arising out of or related to the Services.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RelayTel and its affiliates, officers, employees, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the Services, your content, your calling activity, your messaging activity, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
14. Governing Law
These Terms will be governed by the laws of the applicable jurisdiction designated by RelayTel, without regard to conflict of law principles. Venue and dispute procedures may be specified in a later production version of these Terms.
